A Haute Couture Fashion Show
A Haute Couture Fashion Show presented by JL&Company could only be described as a grand affair. From the seating and décor to the filled seats and food selection, fashion designer, Jasmine Loeb showcased not only the creativity of Mobile but also the entrepreneurial spirit dwelling among us.
With class and humbleness, Loeb graced the stage, holding her mother’s hand, after her show and thanked the crowd. After meeting and planning for over a year, Loeb had finally accomplished something she had only dreamed off.
“Overwhelmed, excited and still nervous,” stated Loeb. All of these emotions and more exuded from Loeb after the show. Once the crowd dispersed to the after party, Loeb was able to take it all in. The 200+ chairs she filled, the smooth transitions between acts and diversity of crowd and clothing, Loeb was more than pleased with the turnout.
With every design, she made femininity and sexy merge to create elaborate clothing for every occasion. “I always want to come off as a lady and as a woman,” explained Loeb. Her style embodied sassy fabrics and intricate details. Even her own ensemble, created by her, personified her idea of women with their own approach to fashion.
Since her move back to her hometown, Loeb loves the potential and positive direction the city is growing. However, she still has mixed emotions about the engagement of crowds. “I want Mobile to start stepping outside the box,” said Loeb. She hopes to see more young entrepreneurs to partner with and create various avenues to garner fresh talent.
When asked about the future of JL&Company, Loeb would love to have more shows and get the community more involved. “I definitely wanna do another one. I want to do an annual show and I already have ideas,” said Loeb.
