Small Business Highlight: Bella Bridesmaids

With sparkling sequins, flowing tails and embellishing waistlines, the dresses at Bella Bridesmaids are far from the dreaded gowns most have come to expect for those close to the bride. Although starting in Fairhope, Bella Bridesmaids has relocated to downtown Mobile and provided a beautiful escape from the worries of dress hunting. Having an ideal location, Bella Bridesmaids has used this to build new and motivating relationships.

While recently celebrating 5 years of Bella, Mary Kendall Butler of Bella Bridesmaids Mobile, spoke of the phenomenal experience.

"It's really just surreal to think about its been 5 years," stated Butler.

The sweet and intimate gathering was filled with laughs, memories and new friendships. With giveaways and sponsorship from other local businesses such as Gemini Studioz and SoHo Events, the night reconnected old acquaintances and introduced new partnerships.

When asked the emotions upon reflecting on turning five, Butler exclaimed, "Overwhelmed, blessed and just happy. Most days I still feel like a baby when it comes to this business, but it's just so fun."

There has been much blood, sweat and tears over the few years, however with the leadership of Butler, Bella Bridesmaids of Mobile has prevailed. Because of the lasting relationships Mary Kendall has created there is so much in store for Bella Bridesmaids and the future is bright. With the new connections and established resume, Bella Bridesmaids is constantly growing and expanding. "I want to be on to the next and the next and the next."
