With strobe lights, a banging DJ and even an 11 year old phenom, The Premiere fashion show was nothing short of a spectacle. The styles came from local boutiques and designers while still including pieces from Mississippi, New Orleans and more. Presented by Loped, a development and management agency that assists in developing, discovering and managing talent, Which was founded by Olymphiane Johnson. The Premiere introduced fresh models while also raising funds for United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile.
Jessica Jackson of Styled by Jessica Lauren was the head fashion stylist for The Premiere and structured all the behind the scenes action.
“I feel so blessed. I can not believe I have been given this opportunity,” stated Jessica.
The diversity of designers and pieces was amazing while still having a high end edge. With a captivating host and adorable, sassy models, The Premiere show kept the audience entertained and amused all night. The night was filled with supporting families and even giveaways from salons and spas to horseback riding.
Behind the curtains, there was an entire other show going on. Zipping, kneeling, running and lots of smiling, Jessica Jackson orchestrated the models lineup and garment changes like a professional. The large room was filled with children models playing, a plethora of selfies and even a few dance circles, all anticipating their time to rip the runway.
When asked her emotions backstage, Jessica responded, “Excited, blessed, unbelievable, ecstatic, just surreal!”
The Premiere fashion show featured garments ranging from young girls’ high fashion to men’s swimwear. Some collections included designs from everyday wear to a night out on the town. The show truly showcased the talents in design, fashion and modeling that the southeast has to offer.
